Gypsum
One of the industry's oldest forms of soil amending, Gypsum is used as a source of calcium, and sulfur. Providing a reaction to the soil structure, Gypsum can improve water and root infiltration in sodic soils. Gypsum is more soluble that lime and can add calcium more rapidly to the soil. Gypsum is a great source of calcium and soil realignment during aeration on golf courses, athletic fields and even hope lawns or maintenance practices for horticulturists. It has also shown effectiveness at treating aluminum toxicity on soils with a pH lower than 4.5. Gypsum is available in both a standard grade SGN size as well as a greens grade. Landscape Supply, Inc. works very closely with our suppliers to ensure that each bag or ton is a uniform and consistent product.
