What does Landscape Supply, Inc. mean to you? In light of your daily business and personal demands, it's understandable that such a question may have never entered your mind.

Rest assured we continually invest time asking a similar question but do so from a business vantage point, with a different perspective. As the VP of Sales I ask all of my reports to actively internalize the answer to this question...."What does Landscape Supply, Inc. mean to its customers?"

As you might suspect, I'm capable of a reply and those on staff offer an array of answers. Some list our core values, others proudly attest to our vision or our mission statement and without exception all mention passion, hard work and commitment to our customers. Clearly each of these answers could consume their own newsletter message, requiring precious time that neither of us has to spare. So explaining the principals and competencies we hold dear will be best left to another day.

For now here's the short version: Landscape Supply, Inc. aspires to be the authority in the markets it serves and to be a recognized leader in the green industry. The company works diligently to instill a culture of leadership, stewardship and service. And along the way, we continue to ask whether we communicate our message clearly. More importantly, we want to be sure that value is conveyed on each occasion when your time is requested.

On rare occasions, we miss that mark. Authors and their messages may become stale or the topics presented may not be germane. Our goal is to catch such shortcomings before our partners and readers tune us out or simply hit the delete key. We strive to be introspective, to take the time to critique our performance. If a gap is discovered we then make appropriate changes and re-establish our commitment to adding value.

So, with tremendous excitement, we introduce our latest change!

We have developed a new and improved newsletter; one with new authors with a new focus all offered with the goal of making the content more interesting, more readable and easily sharable with your network. You will soon notice other changes in our external business communications all designed to keep our partners well informed on all aspects of the industry.

The new and improved format and content represents a considerable change from previous issues of LSI Connections. Each month you will be given opportunity to read articles submitted by 12 professional authors, each an expert in their chosen field. These authors were handpicked and all offer a unique perspective on the happenings and trends in the green industry.

We are also taking steps to embrace new technologies and in so doing improve our overall business communications. In order to not just keep up with the latest innovations in our industry and markets, but to remain and become the expert in our field, we are embracing social media. Among our chief company missions is to provide stellar customer service and Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter will allow us to communicate with our customers faster, better and more seamlessly. We will significantly improve our presence on these outlets, always with the goal of adding value.
