The challenge... a continuous need for nitrogen - Nutralene®® control led-release nitrogen is designed specifically to provide this kind of spoon-feeding.
Homogeneous granules contain three nitrogen sources
1. Occluded urea (15%) for fast release, to provide good immediate response during the first four weeks after each feeding.
2. Short chain methylene urea (MU) polymers (50%) to provide the sustained feeding required from week 4 through week 10 after application.
3. Long chain MU polymers (35%) for the sustained release that's needed to provide a truly "extended" feeding period.
The result is a continuous, long-lasting nitrogen source which begins feeding soon after application and continues for up to 16 weeks.
Two actions trigger the nitrogen release - Nutralene® nitrogen is released as a result of two actions: hydrolysis and microbial activity.
Resists burning... even in hot weather - Because of its low salt index, Nutralene® controlled release nitrogen provides a high degree of safety against burning the grass.
More environmentally friendly
Controlled nitrogen release facilitates more complete nutrient uptake which nearly eliminates the possibility of groundwater contamination or atmospheric release.
